Doctors in Moscow made three million preliminary diagnoses with the help of AI
Moscow physicians made more than three million preliminary diagnoses with the help of technology based on artificial intelligence in the past year. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow Social Development Complex on Monday, January 10.
The department noted that the system of support for making medical decisions (SDSMD) operates in the city clinics for more than a year.
- The service helps to analyze patients' complaints and thus saves time and improves diagnostic accuracy. Also, after diagnosis, the system helps to automatically generate referrals for diagnosis, allowing the doctor to reduce the time to make appointments by 10 times, - the press service said.
Artificial intelligence helps doctors diagnose patients faster and more accurately. First, the device analyzes the complaints made by a specialist, and then offers three most likely diagnoses, the official website of the mayor of Moscow.
Deputy Mayor for Social Development Anastasia Rakova said that Moscow authorities are planning to install digital electrocardiographs with EMIAS integration function in medical institutions. This innovation will allow patients to get ECG results faster.
